Description

Golden Hour is a cold process soap built on brewed Thai tea and colored naturally with turmeric, a deep golden bar with tea leaf flecks throughout. The lather is rich and creamy, made silky by a touch of honey.

Scented with bergamot and mandarin. Bergamot opens clean and slightly floral, the citrus note that lifts everything around it without demanding attention. Mandarin follows with a warmer, rounder sweetness that softens the whole fragrance into something comfortable.

Well suited for dry, normal, or sensitive skin.

Cold process method. Hand-poured in the San Francisco Bay Area.

A note on the color: Turmeric is a natural dye and the lather from this bar will appear golden yellow during the wash. This is completely normal and rinses away cleanly from skin. We recommend avoiding light-colored washcloths, white towels, or white grout surfaces as repeated contact may cause temporary staining. The terracotta color on the bar surface may fade over time with exposure to light and air. This is the nature of natural botanical colorants and does not affect the quality of the bar

Care Instructions

How to Use

Lather in hand or with a washcloth using warm water. Rinse thoroughly.

Storage & Longevity

To get the most life out of your bar:

  • Use a draining soap dish. A dish that lets water run off between uses is the single biggest factor in how long your bar lasts. Standing water is what causes a bar to soften and dissolve quickly.
  • Let it dry fully between uses. Good air circulation matters, so avoid tucking your bar into an enclosed, humid shower caddy if possible.
  • Store unused bars in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and humidity, until you're ready to use them.

A Few Notes

  • Patch test recommended, especially for sensitive or reactive skin.
  • For external use only.
  • Discontinue use and consult a physician if irritation occurs.
  • Natural color and scent variations may occur between batches. This is normal in handmade, small-batch soap and not a sign of anything wrong.

Best used within 12–18 months of purchase for optimal quality.
